A useful service history is more than a row of stamps. Clear records help you and the support team understand what was checked, what was done and what still needs attention.

Record the basics

Keep the date, odometer reading, station details and invoice for each visit. Check that these details are consistent across your booklet and service paperwork.

Keep the findings as well as the bill

Ask for inspection findings and recommendations to be recorded. If something needs attention later, a written note is easier to follow than a remembered conversation.

Understand the work before it starts

Ask the workshop to explain the proposed work and pricing. For warranty-related repairs, involve AUSS before giving authorisation.

Follow up on recommendations

If the workshop recommends additional work, ask how urgent it is and what the next step should be. Contact AUSS about any uncertainty involving your warranty.

Keep everything together

Store a copy of the paperwork alongside your warranty booklet. When reporting a concern, the latest service date and mileage can help the conversation start clearly.
